During the coming school year your child will participate in many events.  Some will occur on the sports field – others on a stage. Though these remarkable school days will all too quickly pass away, you can treasure them forever with a professionally produced video from LeniCam Video Productions, your Dallas Videographer.

LeniCam produces many types of video for school organizations and proud parents.  From raw sports footage delivered online for coaches, to fully customized DVD/BluRay discs of dramatic presentations and recitals – even banquets, award ceremonies and graduations.  Some of our videos are contracted directly by the school or teacher.  Others by a group of parents cooperating together.  We are also hired by individual parents who want us to focus our cameras on their child – sometimes for the memories, sometimes for potential scholarships.

When we work with the school or other organizations, we can do more than create great video.  We can also help with distribution through our website.  In fact, rather than video being an added cost, some organizations, like dance schools, create income through the sale of recital videos.  We can even help you decide what will work best for you and your organization.

LeniCam is an approved vendor for the Plano school district and has produced video for many schools and organizations throughout the Metroplex.  We have a large inventory of audio and visual equipment for recording and presentations.  We are a full-time videography company, available whenever you need us, not just on evenings and weekends.

More than Sports and Performances

During the coming year there will be more than school-related events in your child’s life.  There will also be personal events: Mitzvahs, Quinceañeras, Arangetrams, Birthdays and more.  et out in front with your child and let LeniCam capture all the action.  In the years to come, you’ll be glad you did.

At this point of the summer break from school, moms are hearing a lot of complaints about boredom.  LeniCam, a Dallas Videographer Company, is anything but bored.  In fact, this summer has been full of new and unique projects.

Brides

Summer is bridal season for us and as usual, we’ve sent our videographers to many this year.  A trend we are seeing is a preference for wedding trailers over the more traditional highlight videos.  The trailers are shorter in length, have little to no relation to the order of the events and the activity in the video is often cued to a favorite song or music from the celebrations.

These wedding trailers are designed for sharing on the internet and our brides love them.  The trailers are just part of the LeniCam wedding video package we’d like to design for you.  Our full length, fully customised, fully edited video of your wedding will include all your special moments, before, during and after your celebrations.  The scene selection feature allow you to watch the whole video or pick out a particular moment in your day.  You’ll have five copies of your BluRay or DVD discs to share with family and friends.  You can even choose alternate audio tracks to capture sweet words from your new spouse you don’t want to share with anyone else.

Sports

With kids out of school, sports are a great distraction.   Just last week, we were the official videographer for a soccer tournament.  We were on-site at the soccer fields taking orders from coaches and parents and then our videographers would capture the games for digital and disc delivery.

But soccer isn’t our only sport.  We started the summer riding along with a car club’s East Texas Road Rally.  Our videographer set up in the backseat of a convertible and captured the excitement as the cars sped down the winding roads of the Piney Woods.  Occasionally the caravan  would pull into a small town and the proud owners would open up their hoods to show off their muscle.  At the end of the day everyone gathered for an exciting awards event.

Our founder was particularly glad when he discovered we’d booked a track event.  It’s a sport he participated in during his school days.  He was determined to be the videographer for the event and our associate producer had to juggle a lot of schedules to make that happen, but we made it happen.

This is just sampling of the type of sports events we frequently capture.  Whatever the game from football and baseball, to fencing and golf, we’re the guys and gals you want to call.

Dance

Have you ever been to an arangetram?  We’ve developed a real specialty for these wonderful celebrations of traditional Indian dance.  In fact, every day of the weekends in June, we had videographers filming at the Eisemann Center, where these events are often held.

We help commemorate many kinds of dance.  LeniCam frequently works with local dance studios to capture everything from formal ballet recitals to exciting talent shows.  We can even help with the distribution and sales of these events through our website.

Special Events and Corporate Videos

If an event is special to you, it’s special to us.  We share happy celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries, but we also produce videos of funerals.  We all so produce many kinds of video for business and commerce, from training films to promotional materials.  All events share certain requirements, but each type of event has its own demands.  Even more important to you is that no two events is exactly alike, so we take time to understand what you expect in your video and that’s what we do.

Ballroom at the Wyndham Dallas Suites – Park Central

At a recent bridal show we had the pleasure of meeting Karlene Summerall from the Wyndham Dallas Suites-Park Central.  She invited us to come by and see some of the exciting things the Wyndham has to offer Dallas brides.

We took her up on the invitation and were impressed with what we saw, but we were even more impressed with Karlene, because she’s been coordinating events for the hotel for twelve years.  That means she’s been in this business for as long as we’ve been videographing them.

Karlene’s hotel is a beautiful place.  Outside it’s a substantial brick building near the High Five intersection of Central and LBJ.  The centralized location would be easy for guests from all over Dallas to reach.  There’s plenty of parking and when they enter the double doors of the lobby, everyone’s jaw will drop as their eyes wander up ten stories of atrium.

The chic lobby features warm carved wood.   Carpets and upholstery in black, white and tan will enhance any color scheme a bride chooses.  When it comes to ceremony and reception venues, the Wyndham has a great selection for weddings with up to 280 guests, but if you’re putting together something smaller, there are choices for you, too.

The ballroom in the picture above is very near the entrance, but a stylish vestibule sets it off from the lobby.  Two adjacent antechambers are available for anything from coat checks to waiting rooms.  You just have to bring your ideas.  I’m afraid as lovely as the picture is, it doesn’t begin to show the elegance of the ballroom.  The huge crystal chandeliers set a dramatic scene for your event without competing for attention with what your imagination brings to the space.

If you’d like something a little cozier, then Karlene has just the thing for you, too.  Around the corner from the ballroom is a smaller room built on two levels.  Seventy-five to eighty guests can be entertained in this room dominated by rich wooden columns.  It’s great for rehearsal dinners or smaller weddings.  The hotel also has a number of meeting rooms that can be utilized for ceremonies if the bride wants to keep everything at one location.

And speaking of one location, if you have out-of-town guests, you can offer them a choice of accommodations, because Wyndham’s more economical sister, Hawthorn Suites, is right next door.  Imagine the logistical nightmares you can avoid by having everyone close-by, whether they want one of the Wyndham luxury suites or prefer to watch their pocketbook.

While I was at the property, Karlene allowed me to sample something from the kitchen. It was delicious, but then Karlene let me in on a secret.  Even though most hotels can’t provide a bride with specialized ethnic dishes, they won’t let her bring in food from a caterer who can.  That’s one of the things that differentiates the Wyndham from other facilities.  They’ll work with a bride to create a win-win situation and make it possible for specialty dishes to be brought in.  We were excited to hear that, because many of our brides come from backgrounds with very specific traditions and we understand just how important a particular food can be to a celebration.

But as I said before, the best thing the Wyndham offers is Karlene.  She takes a personal interest in her events and inspects the set-up and service of every wedding herself.  She doesn’t leave it to others to interpret what she’s discussed first-hand with a bride.  After she understands exactly what a bride wants, she follows through on the day of the event – down to the very last detail.  Karlene wants every bride to get exactly what she wants.

If you’re expecting less than 300 people at your wedding and reception, then you’ll want to check out the Wyndham.  Tell Karlene that LeniCam sent you.

LeniCam Video Productions – Dallas Videographer

A wedding doesn’t happen by itself.  Whether you’re depending on friends and family to pull things together or a professional wedding coordinator to direct an army of vendors, your wedding day will require some concerted effort – and perhaps a little magic.  The last thing you need to worry about is your Dallas Videographer.  That’s where our twelve years of experience come in handy.

We Know What You Want

Before we ever show up for a wedding, we sit down with the bride (or her representative) and get the details of the wedding.  Our contract will outline the specifics and special situations, but it goes deeper than that.

Our experience has taught us weddings have a rhythm.  Regardless of language, tradition, religion, ethnicity or location, we know weddings well enough to know what to expect in most situations and even if we’re wrong, we know how to adjust on the fly.  If the weather betrays you, an important guest fails to show or a vendor drops the ball, it won’t stop us from creating a video you will love.

We Anticipate What You’ll Need

As we watch your wedding unfold, we often recognize a potential problem before anyone else does and this allows us to save many wedding days.  Here’s some of the situations we’ve helped out with:

• Several photographers have told brides they prefer to work with ambient light, but then they arrive at a venue and realize there’s not enough ambient light for high quality photographs.  Then the lights on our video cameras come in handy.
• We’ve seen djs who arrive without their microphone or a speaker.  We’ve helped out several time with one of ours.
• Many vendors use battery powered equipment and when those batteries run out unexpectedly, we’ve provided a new one from the stock we carry.
• Sometimes even the wedding coordinator or a parent will lose track of the bride and groom.  Often we’re the ones who can find the couple, because we’re monitoring the microphones.

Those are just a few of the opportunities we’ve had to save the day and rescue a wedding before a derailment.

We Capture It All

A wedding has more going on than one set of eyes can see.  Even if the entire wedding takes place in one small venue, things happen simultaneously in various locations throughout the site.  We’ve worked on some weddings that were spread out all across town.  Many brides help us see more by contracting with us for multiple videographers, but even if there is only one of us, our familiarity with the rhythm of weddings allows us to follow the action from one place to another.

And eyes aren’t all you’ll need to capture the day.  We also capture the sounds of your wedding.  The music, the vows, the toasts, the well wishes – even the sounds of dancing fountains, chirping birds and laughing children.  What’s even more important is that we know how to mix that sound into your video, so that it enhances the experience rather than drowning out everything else.

We Customize It For You

After spending the day at your celebration we have hours of audio and video.  We’ll spend the ensuing weeks refining what we recorded and turning it into a wedding video you will love.  Just to make sure we’ll send you a proof, so you’ll have a say concerning the finished product.  We’ll even customize the cover, the disc and the menu of your video.  When you’re through it is uniquely yours.

There’s more we could tell you about our process, but we’d love to sit down with you and discuss it.  Please give us a call now and set up your appointment.
