Michelle and Paul – Dallas World Aquarium hosts West End Wedding in Wedding Video Dallas TX

There was something decidedly fishy about Michelle and Paul’s wedding. It took place in front of a huge tank of tropical specimens at the Dallas World Aquarium in West End.

The bride and groom were first introduced at a Yummilicious yogurt store by a pair of doctors they knew. The prescription was right for the beginning of a delicious relationship. Brian was smitten, so he pursued Michelle until, according to him, he “finally wore her down.”

The beautiful Michelle looked stunning on her wedding day. Her strapless white satin gown featured a sweetheart bodice covered in crystals, which trailed along the low backline to the corset closing. The bridesmaids wore short strapless dresses of deep burgundy. The fall colors of the bridal party’s bouquets were echoed by elaborate floral displays for the ceremony.

The couples wrote their vows for one another, listing all the things they loved about one another. Some of the items listed were pretty funny, but afterwards there wasn’t a dry eye among their guests. After the ceremony the wedding party posed for a series of formal portraits. With all the birds flying around the aquarium/zoo/conservatory the bride hoped drops of moisture hitting her skin came from the waterfall, not the wildlife.

At the reception the guests had plenty to keep them busy. Dinner and dessert were served buffet style. The dj kept the dance floor hopping all night long. Nearby a photo booth offered an array of crazy props for hamming it up. If a guest needed a break, they could just sit down and watch a slideshow of photos from the couple’s courtship.

If it’s true that the guests who catch the bouquet and garter are the next to get married, none of Michelle and Paul’s single friends will be getting married anytime soon. The flower girl and ring-bearer who caught the bouquet and garter are a little young to start considering marriage. At the end of the evening the bride and groom escaped through a swirl of bubbles.

Behind the Scenes with LeniCam Video Productions

Lighting is tricky in an aquarium. The ambient light is left low, so the light in the tanks can show off the fish. Meanwhile, our cameras needed light to show off the bride and groom. Our videocameras do have lights on them and we are able to adjust the lenses. Also the glass tanks reflect light, causing another hazard for our videographers. Despite the venue’s lighting, everything in the video is easy to see thanks to our constant setting and resetting on the fly.

Sounds are also important to a video and capturing them in the wide open spaces of the aquarium with its wildlife and waterfalls required our expertise. One of the strategies we used to get clear sound on the video was employing a variety of audio feeds. We needed to clearly capture every word that was spoken during the vows. We also wanted to include the charming ambient sounds of the waterfalls and wildlife. We just didn’t want the ambient sound to overpower the words. By editing and mixing the audio in our studio, we created a perfect soundtrack to the video.

Since weddings are a one-shot opportunity without do-overs, LeniCam always brings back-ups for our equipment and back-ups for our back-ups. As the dj was setting up, he discovered he’d left one of his microphones behind. Because of our planned redundancy we were able to loan him one of our.

Marilyn and Joshua – Occasions at Stone River in Royce City with Mariachi Wedding Reception in Dallas Wedding Video

While other people in Joshua’s high school algebra class were focused on mathematical equations, he was busy winning the heart of his soulmate. He figured out the right formula, because he and Marilyn were married at Occasions at Stone River in Royce City.

For her nuptials, Marilyn wore a sleeveless brocade gown with a V-neck and A-Line Styling. She topped off her up-do with a lace edged veil and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Her flower girl wore a cloud of white tulle with a pink sash and the bridesmaids wore long black gowns.

The bride and groom wrote their vows to one another, revealing a little of their history together and their heartfelt love for one another. The setting was perfect for their outdoor wedding. The afternoon sun bathed the rural landscape with gold. The ceremony took place in a white gazebo, before a white picket fence and the guests sat in white folding chairs. It almost seemed as if there had been a break in time and the guests were witnessing a piece of history.

To entertain their guests at the reception, Marilyn and Joshua hired a band of nine mariachis. The music was beautiful and the mariachis were stunning in their black uniforms with silver conchos down the sides. The multi-tiered wedding cake was decorated with silk roses and was accompanied by a chocolate groom’s cake.

The dance floor was a busy, crowded place – especially when the dj played rock and roll. At the endof the evening, Joshua and Marilyn escaped through a cascade of bubbles.

Behind the Scenes with LeniCam Video Productions

The beautiful golden haze that made the scene of Marilyn and Joshua’s wedding so beautiful, also made demands on the skills of our videographers. Our camera people arrived an hour and a half before the ceremony to set up the equipment for the wedding. The sun was in a completely different place than it would be during the ceremony, so we had to guess what the conditions would be later.

One of the cameras we used for the ceremony is a special proprietary camera we designed for special situations. Because of the way the ground sloped near the ceremony, to get close-ups of the vows, we needed to use an extra tall camera and video monitoring glasses. Our videographer and camera tripod was down the slope and over to the side, out of the guests line of sight. The videocamera peeked over the hill and the cameraman watched the ceremony through the glasses to make his adjustments

As soon as the ceremony was over everything had to be moved inside for the reception. That’s a quick transition. We had to move the cameras and we also need to coordinate the audio with the performers and dj, so the sound will be crystal clear on the video. We didn’t need the extra tall tripod any more, so we switched to a dolly with wheels which allowed us to more freely follow the action. Our experience with these quick maneuvers paid off. The Dallas Wedding Video was everything Marilyn and Joshua wanted it to be.

Brittany and Tim at Grand Prairie’s Historic Anderson Building

Brittany and Tim chose the Historic Anderson Building in Grand Prairie for their wedding venue. Built in 1915, this beautiful old building with copper ceilings and other unique architectural features has been beautifully restored and provided a lovely backdrop for their elegant affair.

During the First Look, on the building’s interior balcony, Tim appreciated Brittany’s stunning strapless ball gown. The dress was covered in lace and crystals, but his favorite part was the satin ribbons of the corseted bodice.

The bridesmaids chose short flowing black dresses in a variety of styles and carried bouquets of mixed flowers in shades of purple. The bride’s larger bouquet echoed her bridesmaid’s flowers, but included gorgeous Stargazer lilies. The men of the wedding party wore black tuxes with white calla lily boutonnieres. Wrist corsages of white flowers complimented the attractive ensembles of the mothers.

The nuptials were held beneath an ivy-covered archway in the center of the venue. Family and friends clustered all around and also looked down from the balcony overhead. The couple promised their devotion to one another and to God with Christian vows and demonstrated their family unity with a sand pouring ceremony.

Afterwards, pictures were made outside, while the space was rearranged for the reception. Back inside, champagne flowed while good food was savored. The couple cut their chic wedding cake, covered in silver flourishes, and then cherished their First Dance for its lack of interruptions. Finally, the couple escaped through a barrage of bubbles to start their new life together.

Behind the Scenes with LeniCam Video Productions – Dallas Wedding Videographers

Whatever the venue, LeniCam promises to be everywhere on your wedding day, recording all the important moments, while remaining virtually invisible. Accomplishing that during a ceremony like Brittany and Tim’s, where the guests surround the couple above and below, took a little more effort than it does in some venues, but we worked hard and utilized special custom-designed equipment to do what we said we’d do.

Though the low lighting in the building added the weddings romantic atmosphere, the guests were happy our cameras’ lights brightened things up and made it easier to see events throughout the room. To capture the sounds of the day, we placed wireless microphones on the groom and minister, and picked up audio from the cd player.

After the wedding, at our studio, we edited and mixed all the video and audio feeds we’d recorded during the day, creating a remarkable video which preserved memories of the day for Brittany and Tim.
