Star Trek, Gaming Icons and Peacocks – Canyon Creek Country Club in Richardson

Erin and John believe that on your special day you should surround yourself with the people and things you love.  So with family and friends they enjoyed a wedding day full of peacocks, gaming icons and a little Star Trek.  Erin and John were married at Canyon Creek Country Club in Richardson.

Erin’s white duchess satin wedding dress was fit for a queen.  The dress was liberally decorated with crystals and lace and featured a corset closing.  Inset into the waist and the train were panels of silk-embroidered black velvet.  Glittering brooches were gathered into bouquet for the bride to carry.  With bridesmaids dressed in deep sapphire gowns and peacock feathers abounding, the wedding was a royal affair.  The guys’ boutonnieres were made of peacock feathers held in place by a Star Trek emblem.

The ceremony took place under a white canopy tied with sapphire ropes.  Guests sat in white folding chairs and a metal peacock guarded the back of the church.  The bride and groom gazed lovingly into one another’s eyes throughout their vows.  A binding of their hands symbolized the joining of their lives.  Then a passionate kiss sealed their promises.  After the ceremony, Photography by Clarence gathered the wedding party for still photos.

More royal treatment awaited the guests at the reception.  Rich teal and purple dominated the room.  Elaborate floral decorations with peacock feathers graced the tables.  The layered wedding cake, decorated in bands of rhinestones, also gave a nod to their techie-gaming theme.  The bride and groom figurines topping the cake were robots, a gear decorated one layer and gaming cubes another.  The grooms cake feature ninja throwing stars and a pair of gaming consoles.  At the end of the evening, with guests waving streamers and blowing bubbles, Erin and John got into their car and drove away.

This wedding highlight video barely scratches the surface of what we deliver to our couples.  It’s only a few minutes gleaned from a full length DVD (BluRay is also available).  What’s more, for it to load quickly on the internet, we had to reduce the quality.

We spent the whole day at Erin and John’s wedding, arriving an hour and a half before the ceremony and only loading up our equipment after they’d driven away.  We had hours of video coverage and multiple tracks of audio when we were through.  Over the next few weeks we pored over the footage at our studio, mixing and editing the video and audio portions to create a unique wedding video.  Then we turned the demo over to the couple for their edits.

When we got the final OK from the couple we created a personalized DVD with photos from the wedding on the cover and disc.  The DVD includes personalized menus and multiple audio tracks, just like a Hollywood DVD would.  Then five copies of the completed DVD were delivered to Erin and John.

We still weren’t through.  We loaded this highlight on the internet so family and friends could view and download it.  We also store the footage of the DVD on our secure server so additional or replacement copies are always available.

Jenna and Casey’s Love Story

LeniCam Love Story Video is an Important Part of the Celebration

From the bride’s radiant smile to the couple’s fiery sparkler send-off, Jenna and Casey enjoyed a dazzling wedding day.

The historic First United Methodist Church in Downtown Dallas provided an elegant venue for the couple’s ceremony.  A venerable old building with unique architectural touches, the church holds its own among the shiny new skyscrapers.

Throughout the day, the effervescent bride also held her own in a stunning, off- the- shoulder ivory satin, gown, heavily encrusted with lace, bedazzled with jewels and complimented by her bridesmaid’s chic black lace dresses.  Instead of a bouquet, she chose to carry an ivory fan decorated with white roses and a white lace bow.

Coming down the aisle with her father, the bride displayed her eagerness to marry her handsome groom.  His big grin, at his first sight of her, communicated his own zest for the nuptials.  Their resounding kisses at the end of the ceremony were followed by many more as the night progressed.

The wedding party traveled from the ceremony to an exuberant reception at Canyon Creek Country Club in a Citi Sedan Party Bus. Tiers of decorated cupcakes surrounded by bon bons and cake-pops were served to the guests, while Jenna and Casey shared a small cake iced with colorful swirls.

Because the couple frolicked through their day, giggling during their vows and spontaneously delivering and demanding kisses, it’s no surprise they offered a photo booth with crazy props to their guests  or chose a DJ who creatively recognized special members of the audience.

As the night drew to a close and the guests waved farewell with their sparklers, Jenna stopped to express her love for her family and friends, one more time.  With her fingers forming a heart, she made a slow turn, looking deeply into the eyes of her well-wishers.

Capturing details, like the bride’s ivory fan bouquet, her luminous be-jeweled gown, the unity candle ceremony and the couple’s boundless joy is our responsibility. The Photo Fun segment, in this Highlights Video, displays amusing moments caught between the still photographer’s formal poses.

This couple also hired us to do a Love Story Video to be shown during their celebrations.  These video are always enjoyed by the guests and then the couple has it to enjoy as a part of their wedding video.

We arrive early to set up special video equipment which sees and hears everything, while remaining virtually invisible to participants, officiants and guests.  We placed a remote camera, out of the line of sight, to capture the bride’s giggles during the vows. Then the cameraman used a balcony vantage point to record dramatic shots of the ceremony impossible for guests to imagine.  To capture special spoken memories we used a small wireless microphone hidden on the groom. As a result, we were everywhere, and caught everything, but quietly and unobtrusively.
