Amber and Dustin Wedding Videography Dallas TX – Gazebo Wedding at Meyers Park & Event Center in McKinney, Texas

In the distance you see an open-topped white carriage pulled by a pair of white horses through a rural setting with acres of green grass and large shade trees. As the carriage approaches you begin to make out the driver’s top hat. Then you realize the carriage is decorated with flowers and inside the carriage is a stunning brunette all dressed up for her wedding day. The beautiful bride is Amber, on her way to Dustin, for their lakeside gazebo wedding at McKinney’s Meyer Park and Event Center.

For her big day, Amber chose a strapless lace sheath with just a hint of flair at the bottom. The gown showed off an elaborate rose tattoo on her shoulder. The dress’s straight neckline showed off her crystal necklace and a satin ribbon emphasized her waist. The tulle fingertip veil was edged in crystals. Her shoes were a pair of high-heeled purple satin pumps to match her bouquet.

The wedding was a family affair. The bride was escorted to the altar by her older son. Her daughter served as bridesmaid. Waiting with the groom was the bride’s younger son and the groom’s son. After the vows the officiant performed bound their hands with purple and white ribbons. Then all the members of the new family participated in a sand pouring ceremony to symbolize their joining.

The new family took advantage of the lovely lakeside setting for some formal portraits and then rode away together in the carriage.

This was a small wedding, so Amber chose our one-camera package. With only one camera available we had to strategically position ourselves to capture the very best scenes. Our first stop on her wedding day was Amber’s house, where she dressed for her nuptials. Then we moved to the park where the ceremony would be to capture her approach in the stately carriage. From that position, we switched our focus to the ceremony in the lakeside gazebo. Each change of vantage point required moving our equipment and readjusting the settings.

A video is more than a visual record. Sound is also important. The participants in this ceremony used a handheld microphone to amplify the spoken words and the microphone on our camera recorded the ambient sound. The guests at the wedding instinctively filtered out background sounds and tuned in to the ceremony. Technology does not have that instinctive filtering, so one of our most important jobs in the studio is editing the audio track and mixing it with the video track to make everything sound natural. The video editing for one-camera weddings is more precise, because we endeavor to emulate the look of multiple cameras. Amber and Dustin were very happy with our work.

When dental hygienist, Amanda, told Charbel to open wider, she was talking about his mouth, not his heart.  But Charbel couldn’t help himself – he fell in love anyway.

He kept coming back to the dentist’s office time and again, whether he needed work on his teeth or not – and finally won the girl of his dreams. Amanda and Charbel were married in an outdoor ceremony at the iconic Magnolia Hotel in Downtown Dallas.

The wedding aisle was decorated with black iron lanterns topped with large tulle bows.  Guests sat in rows of white folding chairs.  At the ends of the rows, balls of green vegetation hung on pink ribbons. Dominating the scene was a large flowing waterfall.

A tiny, tuxedoed ring-bearer and a precious flower girl with a big blue bow, preceded Amanda down the aisle. The groom grinned widely when his beautiful bride appeared.  She wore a satin, sequin-embroidered, fit-and-flare gown, with a ruffled skirt and train, complimented by a lace-trimmed veil and satin belt with crystal ornament.  Hiding under the dress were electric blue shoes which matched the six bridesmaids’ one-shouldered dresses and the bow on the flower girl’s white dress.  Pink roses in the bride’s bouquet matched the pink ribbons on the ends of the pews.

The couple sealed their vows with communion wine sipped from an exquisite crystal chalice.  After formal portraits of the wedding party, guests proceeded next door, to the Pegasus Grand Ballroom in the Dallas Power and Light Building, a popular venue for Magnolia brides.

At the reception, guests celebrated Charbel’s Syrian heritage in song and in dance.  During a lively version of the Newlywed Game, the couple indicated their answers by raising shoes into the air – a black oxford stood for Charbel and the electric blue pump for Amanda.  The bride’s bouquet flew into the arms of an excited friend and Charbel flew under Amanda’s gown for her garter, but when said garter flew through the air, only the ring bearer showed any interest.

Live flowers on the wedding cake echoed the flowers in Amanda’s bouquet.  The couple sipped champagne from crystal flutes tied with ribbon.   Exiting between rows of guests waving sparklers, Charbel said to Amanda, “I’m the happiest man on this planet right now.”  Amanda expressed similar sentiments.

The bride and groom were ready to go, but their horse and carraige was no where in sight.  So, Charbel’s friends broke into Boy Scout songs they once sang together in Syria.  Finally, the horse and carriage arrived to whisk away the bride and groom.

The LeniCam Difference – A Video Experience More Complete Than the Live Event

As Amanda and Charbel’s guests enjoyed the sights and sounds of the lovely outdoor wedding, with its flowing waterfall and dramatic skyline views, the guests automatically filtered out the sound of falling water and traffic noises from busy Dallas streets.  They also ignored beer-drinking tourists spying on the festivities from the sidewalk, even though the bride, her father and her attendants had to walk around the impromptu audience.  For the video to accomplish the same feat as the wedding guests, we spent hours electronically mixing and filtering a variety of camera and audio feeds recorded at the wedding. Though attendees might have some memory of the distractions, no hint shows up in the video.

At Amanda and Charbel’s wedding ceremony, the cameraperson focused on the bride and groom.  To capture the excitement and activity of the reception, the camera had to be everywhere, all the time, yet remain invisible to the celebrants.  As with the wedding, several audio and video feeds were necessary.  With meticulous devotion to detail we captured the  entwined arms of the Syrian dancers, important sentiments like Charbel’s confession of joy and the sound of the horse’s hooves as French Boy Scout songs faded into the night.

It started in high school.  Brittany shook her pom poms with the cheer squad, while Chris played on the football team. She sang in the choir at his father’s church. Somewhere along the way they started dating and went to college together at Mary Hardin Baylor. They both graduated early.  Then on a beautiful day in Arlington, Texas, Brittany and Chris were married at Lamar Baptist Church.

This fairy tale romance is true and Brittany looked like a fairy princess for her storybook day.  Her beautiful strapless gown, encrusted with lace and jewels, featured a rose colored sash at her tiny waist. A sparkling broach held the sash in place.  A diadem glistened in her soft blonde curls and a tulle veil, trimmed in lace and crystals, cascaded to her fingertips.

Special touches were choreographed into Brittany and Chris’s day.  As guests arrived and signed the register, a crystal Cinderella carriage introduced the storybook theme and hinted that a beautiful girl might be riding in a pumpkin-shaped carriage before the day was over.  In the sanctuary before the ceremony, guests enjoyed a Love Story Video produced by LeniCam Video Productions.  Chris’s grandfather was the presiding minister.  Befitting the light-hearted motif, bridesmaids and groomsmen entered the church in pairs and at the front of the church, offered brief Broadway-like vignettes.

Though Brittany and Chris’s wedding was full of fun, it also solemnized a magnificent love.  During the First Look, Chris called Brittany “the most beautiful thing in the world,” adding “I don’t think you can get much more gorgeous than that.”  Brittany too, was smitten by her intended.  As she pledged her love her emotions flashed between peals of laughter and barely contained tears.  In vows written for one another, the depth of their love for one another and their love for God sang in each line.

After the ceremony, the wedding celebrants moved to the reception at the Cacharel Grand Ballroom, which offers a great view of Six Flags.  The view just got better as the evening progressed and the amusement park began to light up the night.

In the ballroom, fun was also lighting up the night.  The bride and groom performed a rollicking First Dance routine to kick things off.  Spirits stayed high, right until the moment the storybook princess and her handsome prince climbed aboard the horse-drawn Cinderella coach and rode off into the night.

Brittany and Chris had a busy day.  From First Look to First Dance and then a fairytale coach pulling off in to the night, videographer for Dallas wedding was busy too.  Many of the vignettes we wanted to record happened simultaneously, but in different parts of the venue.  Some shots had to be recorded from multiple angles.  Equipment was set up for the ceremony and then moved to the reception site.  To capture sound, a variety of audio feeds were connected and wireless microphones were hidden on podiums and lapels.

Videographer for Dallas wedding activity at the wedding is just the beginning of the DVD.  The Love Story footage, the raw wedding footage and the many audio recordings from Brittany and Chris’s day were taken back to our studio where they were meticulously edited and mixed.   The proof copy was delivered to the newly married couple for further editing requests.

Even after the completed DVD was delivered to Brittany and Chris, videographer for Dallas wedding was not over.  We uploaded highlights to our website for friends and family to view and download.  Finally, everything was stored on our secure server so that no matter what happen to your wedding DVD, your memories are safe with us.
