I’m John Lenihan, owner and co-founder of LeniCam Productions, a Dallas Wedding Videographer. The very first wedding I ever captured on tape was my own, back in 1977.
Back then, audio cassettes had exploded into the consumer market, so with the help of a friend, I simply recorded the audio of my wedding and later created a slideshow of the event from still photos along with synced audio from the cassettes.
That was then. This is now.
We’ve come a long way since the early days of reel-to-reel tape, and now our team at LeniCam uses professional-grade, high-definition video cameras and industry-standard wired and wireless microphones, as well as a full suite of software and hardware. We even have a dedicated server room at our studio office in Plano to safely store all of our clients’ wedding videos.
We know that, in most cases, we only get one chance to capture a fleeting moment – whether it’s a wedding, a sporting event, or a corporate event – so we make sure that when we’re on assignment, we come prepared and devote our entire attention and all the resources at our disposal to creating the perfect video.
