Lynn and Carl Wedding Videography – Arapaho United Methodist Church in Richardson
“I look like a bride,” Lynn exclaimed as she got ready for her wedding ceremony. The smile on Carl’s face, as she came down the aisle, said he also thought she looked lovely. Lynn and Carl were married at Arapaho United Methodist Church in Richardson.
For her wedding day Lynn chose an A-Line Gown with a scoop neck and short sleeves. Beads and crystals decorated the bodice and skirt in lacy patterns. To top off her look, the bride chose a tulle and crystal fascinator worn on the side of her head. Her bouquet was rust colored calla lilies.
The October wedding utilized the colors of the season, a deep burgundy and pumpkin orange. Fall flowers decorated the church. The bridesmaids wore burgundy dresses. A darling flower girl and ring bearer rounded out the bridal party.
After the ceremony everyone relaxed as formal photos were taken. The groom seemed to enjoy hamming it up for the camera. Then everyone went to the reception which was a feast for the sweet-toothed. The wedding cake was a tower of bundt tartlets topped off with a signature bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. A few steps away was a white chocolate fountain with myriads of goodies in a variety of selections.

Since Lynn and Carl had a small wedding, only one cameraman was needed, but that cameraman had to work very hard. We want our videos to feature shots from many angles, so when there is only one camera, the videographer must constantly be readjusting his camera and moving from one place to the next with our wheeled dolly. Producing this type of video requires extra effort also, because the editing and mixing must be very precise to give the impression that multiple cameras were used. This method of production is a lot harder on us, but it looks so much better than a video which has been shot from a stationary camera planted in one position.
After working on the video for a few weeks we presented it to Lynn and Carl for their edits. They were very excited about participating in the creative part of the project. Here’s what they said about the end product on The Knot’s website, “Friendly, professional videographer. Loved the personalized service when it came to editing our video. We worked together with the owner and the finished video was excellent.”
A lot goes into planning a wedding and we put a lot into producing unique videos for our couples. We love that our video will be a part of their lives throughout their marriage.
