Jenna & Dustin at Barton Creek Resort

Jenna and Dustin Wed at Austin’s Barton Creek Resort

After beginning their relationship on Match.com, Jenna and Dustin shared a fun trip to Asheville, North Carolina.  On the way back to the airport, Jenna fell asleep on Dustin’s shoulder.  That’s when he knew she was the girl for him.  The couple exchanged vows during a red, white and black ceremony at the beautiful Barton Creek Resort in Austin, TX.

The stunning bride chose a strapless, trumpet-style white gown with a shirred bodice, corset lacing and ruffled skirt.  A black belt, embellished with net roses and clear crystals, set off the bride’s tiny waist.  She carried a bouquet of white roses and wore a tulle veil.  The groom contrasted sharply in his black tuxedo with white shirt, white rose boutonniere and black tie.

The bridesmaids wore short black strapless dresses and were escorted by groomsmen in white tuxedos, black shirts, white ties and red boutonnieres.  The flower girl wore red, which matched the red roses of the bridesmaid’s bouquets and the groomsmen’s boutonnieres.  The use of color was chic in the formal posed photos, especially one with the bride showing off a white parasol emblazoned with the words, Just Married.

Barton Creek’s wedding venue, with its circular wall of glass, provided a jaw-dropping panorama of the magnificent Hill Country.  Lisa Prichett, Barton Creek’s wedding coordinator, took care of all the details – from separate suites for dressing the bridal party and groomsmen, to a golf cart to whisk away the newly married couple.

Dancing dominated the energetic reception.  During their first dance, Jenna and Dustin shared sweet secrets.  Afterwards the bride slow-danced with her father – but only for a while, because the music changed and they performed an entertaining funky routine, which was obviously choreographed and well-rehearsed.  When the wedding party dances were over, the guests performed an impromptu routine of their own to the classic “YMCA”.   Guests also enjoyed a delicious buffet with tender roast beef and an elegant wedding cake.

Behind the Scenes with LeniCam Video Productions – Dallas Wedding Videographers

We’re proud to say Jenna is the second daughter of this family to choose LeniCam for their wedding video.  Her sister, Joanna, was married the previous year and we’re even prouder to say we’ll have the opportunity to work with the familiar family and friends when Jaymie, bride number three,  marries in the fall.

To capture the ceremony and the gorgeous landscape in the windows behind it, while remaining invisible to the guests, we used two cameras.  A remote camera was placed up high, out of the line of sight to record Jenna’s smile during the vows.  Another camera at the back of the room was used to film the rest.  Back at the studio we weave the video footage with multiple audio feeds to produce a lasting memory.

We sweat the small stuff, so you don’t have to.
